Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, we depart from Fes to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas passing by Ifrane, the “Switzerland” of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we can stop hand feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we have lunch. Then we follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop seeing the gorges of Ziz before continuing to Merzouga for dinner and overnight stay through Erfoud.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

Today we will explore the desert region and the wonder that is the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes, where you have the opportunity to see the way of nomadic life and changing striking contrasts of desert. Visit the “black town ‘of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have the opportunity to taste a traditional pizza Berber lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. Then we will return in the afternoon to ride the camels to watch the sun over the dunes and spend the evening with dinner at the camp in the desert and Berber traditional music while watching the stars and the crescent moon in incredible desert dunes.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Roses Valley – Skoura -Ouarzazate

Wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise, where the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. Arriving at the hotel/riad to have breakfast and a shower. We will continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani and stop in Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marbles, where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. Continue to the Todra Gorges which is an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. Have lunch then drive through the town of Roses, Kelaa Mgouna. We continue through the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs passing the Skoura palm grove until we arrive to Ouarzazate named "Hollywood of Morocco" and check into the hotel/riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou – High Atlas - Marrakech

We head to Aït Benhaddou, a ‘fortified city', situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. It is situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and boasts some beautiful examples of kasbahs, some of which remain inhabited. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After stop for lunch then continue to Marrakech over the high Atlas mountains
