Marrakech To Ourika Valley Day Trip:
Itinerary
Pick up around 9:30am from your accommodation in Marrakech to the direction of the Atlas Mountains, after some 45 minutes through olive tree groves, you should get to the gate of the Ourika valley at the village of Tnine Ourika, where a great weekly market is set every Monday where all the people living around come to shop. Once visit the market ( if monday) you then start the 2 hour walk through lot of Berber villages and through many cultivated terraces till the village of Timalizine from where you'll cross the bridge and get back to the main road and get back on the car to carry on the journey up the Ourika valley till the stunning village of Setti Fadma which marks the end of the Tarmac road. Once up here, get off and have lunch in a local restaurant before setting off for another 45 minute walk to visit some of the waterfalls. After the visit of the waterfalls, then get back to the car and make your journey back to Marrakech to get there around 5pm with a possibility of visiting a traditional Berber home on the way back

Itinerary
Start your day trip at 07:30with a pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation. Hop inside your air-conditioned car and soak up the scenery as you travel into the Atlas Mountains. Learn about life in the mountain villages, and cross the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass, climbing to 7,415 feet (2,260 meters).The trip takes around 3 and a half hours each way. The first stop is at the top of Tizi N’Tichka, the second at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot there including: The mummy (1999),Gladiator (2000),Alexander (2004),King of Heaven(2005),Prince of Persia(2010)...
The third stop will be at Ouarzazate (The Hollywood of Africa). Afterwards, return to Marrakech, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Marrakech at approximately 19:30.
Excursion to Ouzoud waterfalls:
Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 08:00 with 4x4 vehicle or mini van.
